To authenticate your Funko Pop! Newt Scamander (Occammy Egg) from the 2016 Fantastic Beasts release, first verify that the SKU number 2 is printed on the bottom of the box and that the packaging displays the official Funko logo and copyright information. Inspect the figure itself for consistent paint application, sharp sculpting details, and the correct translucent material for the Occamy egg, as counterfeit items often feature blurry printing, off-color plastics, or poor articulation. If the item lacks a box, compare the figure's proportions and specific sculpt details against high-resolution images of the authentic 2016 release to ensure it matches the original mold.
