Common questions about the Nick Pop! Movies from Funko (2024).
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
The Nick Pop! Movies figure is not considered rare, as it is a standard production item from Funko's 2024 release cycle. These figures are widely available through major retailers and Funko's own online store. Rarity in the collectibles market typically applies to limited edition variants, exclusive releases, or items that have been discontinued, none of which apply to this standard SKU.
There is no established market value for the 2024 Nick Pop! Movies (SKU 1686) because it is a current release that has not yet developed a secondary market. As a new item, its value is generally equivalent to its retail price, and any speculation on future appreciation is unreliable without historical sales data.
To authenticate a 2024 Nick Pop! Movies figure, first verify that the packaging is a sealed, shrink-wrapped box with the correct SKU (1686) and copyright date printed on the bottom. Examine the figure itself for consistent paint application, clean seams, and the official Funko logo on the base, as counterfeit items often feature blurry printing, misaligned parts, or missing logos. If the figure lacks these quality markers or the packaging appears damaged or resealed, it is likely a replica, and you should consult Funko’s official authentication guidelines or a trusted marketplace for further verification.

To condition-check a Nick Pop! Movies figure, inspect the vinyl for any mold lines, paint transfers, or surface scratches, paying close attention to the face and hands where defects are most common. Verify that the eyes are properly aligned and that the figure stands level without wobbling, which indicates a structural issue with the base. If you intend to have it professionally graded, the figure must be placed in a high-quality protective case, as grading services typically require the item to be sealed to ensure authenticity and preservation.
