The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
The Nicol Bolas 6-inch Pop! Vinyl figure is not considered rare in the collectibles market. It was part of a standard mass-production run for the Magic: The Gathering line and remains widely available in both new and used condition.
The value of a 2014 Funko Pop! Nicol Bolas (SKU 12) varies significantly based on condition, with sealed figures typically commanding a premium over open ones. As of recent market trends, an open figure in good condition generally sells for approximately $15 to $30, while a sealed figure can range from $40 to $80 or more depending on the seller and platform. Prices for vintage Funko Pops fluctuate, so checking current listings on eBay or specialized collectible marketplaces is recommended for the most accurate real-time valuation.
Authenticating a 2014 Funko Pop! requires checking for specific manufacturing details, such as the "Funko" logo on the base and the presence of a copyright date on the packaging. Genuine figures from this era typically feature a smooth, consistent paint application and a solid, uniform plastic texture without visible seams or flash marks. If the figure lacks a box, verify that the plastic feels dense and the paint is not chipped or uneven, as counterfeit reproductions often use softer, lower-quality materials. For definitive confirmation, compare the item against high-resolution images of the original release or consult a certified authentication service.

Condition-checking a Funko Pop! involves inspecting the figure for manufacturing defects such as paint overspray, chipped plastic, or misaligned parts, as well as checking the box for shelf wear, creases, or damage. Since this specific item is from 2014, you should also look for signs of age-related yellowing on the plastic or fading on the box graphics. If you are seeking a formal grade for resale value, you would need to submit the item to a professional grading service like PSA, which will assign a numerical score based on its physical state.
