Common questions about the Night Lights Pop! Movies from Funko (2019).
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
The Funko Pop! Movies Night Lights series is not considered rare, as it was a standard mass-produced line released in 2019. These figures were widely distributed through major retail channels and remain commonly available on the secondary market. Consequently, they do not carry the scarcity premium associated with limited edition or exclusive releases.
The value of a Funko Pop! Movies Night Lights figure (SKU 728) varies significantly based on its condition, whether it is in the original box, and current market demand. As a standard retail item from 2019, it typically sells for between $10 and $20 on the secondary market if unopened, while opened figures generally have little to no resale value. Prices can fluctuate, so checking recent completed sales on platforms like eBay or StockX is the most reliable way to determine its current worth.
I cannot determine the authenticity of your specific item without physical inspection or high-resolution images of the packaging and figure. To authenticate a Funko Pop, verify that the box is sealed with the correct holographic sticker, the figure has the standard "Funko Pop!" logo on the base, and the packaging matches the official 2019 release specifications for SKU 728. If the item was purchased from an authorized retailer, it is highly likely to be genuine, but any signs of repackaging, off-center printing, or plastic defects should be evaluated by a professional authenticator.
The Night Lights Pop! Movies was released in 2019 by Funko.
Funko has discontinued the Night Lights Pop! Movies series, meaning the items are no longer in print and cannot be purchased new from the manufacturer. While specific stock for SKU 728 may occasionally appear on secondary markets like eBay or Amazon, these listings will be for used or previously sold new items.
To grade a Funko Pop! Night Lights figure, first inspect the LED light mechanism to ensure it powers on correctly and that the internal wiring is intact, as functional defects significantly impact value. Next, examine the vinyl surface for common issues such as seam lines, paint chips, or discoloration, paying close attention to the light-emitting areas which may show wear. If you require a professional certification, submit the item to a third-party grading service like PSA, which will assign a numerical score based on the figure's overall condition and the functionality of its electronic components.
