Common questions about the Night Lights Pop! Movies from Funko (2019).
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
The Night Lights Pop! Movies figure is not considered rare, as it was part of a standard retail release by Funko in 2019. Being a common item from a major manufacturer's regular production run, it is widely available on the secondary market and does not possess the limited production numbers required to be classified as a rare collectible.
The value of the Funko Pop! Movies Night Lights (SKU 728) varies significantly based on condition, with unopened figures typically selling for $15 to $30 on the secondary market. Prices can fluctuate depending on the specific movie character included in the set and current collector demand. For an accurate, real-time valuation, it is best to check recent completed sales on platforms like eBay.
I cannot verify the authenticity of your specific item without physical inspection, as I do not have access to reliable information on the provenance of individual units. To authenticate a Funko Pop, you should check for the official Funko logo on the base, ensure the paint application is clean without excess glue, and verify that the box seal is intact and the holographic sticker is present. For definitive confirmation, you can consult the Funko authentication service or compare your item against high-resolution images of verified examples from reputable collectors.
The Night Lights Pop! Movies was released in 2019 by Funko.
Funko has discontinued the Night Lights Pop! Movies series, so the item is no longer in print and cannot be purchased new directly from the manufacturer. While specific individual figures from the 2019 release may occasionally appear as overstock on third-party retailers, the general availability of new, sealed units is extremely limited. Collectors seeking this item should look to the secondary market, where prices are typically higher than the original retail value.
To grade a Funko Pop! Night Lights figure, you should assess the condition of the vinyl body for scratches, paint chips, or fading, as well as the integrity of the internal LED light and its wiring. Check that the light illuminates correctly and that the figure’s articulation points, if any, are not loose or damaged. Because these items are relatively modern and mass-produced, they are typically graded on a scale from 1 to 10 based on overall cosmetic appearance and functionality, with a perfect 10 requiring the item to be in original, unopened packaging.
