Sideshow Collectibles does not provide a public serial number database or certificate of authenticity for individual retail units, so there is no definitive way to verify if a specific item is a factory original versus a high-quality reproduction. You can assess authenticity by examining the sculpting quality, paint application, and packaging details, such as the specific font and logo placement on the box, which often differ on counterfeits. For a definitive authentication, you would need to consult a professional grading service like PSA or CGC, though they typically grade the condition of the figure rather than verifying its origin.
Sideshow Collectibles released the 1/6th scale Obi-Wan Kenobi figure, SKU 810233, in 2017. This figure was part of their Star Wars: The Force Awakens line and was made available to the public in the first quarter of that year.

I cannot find reliable information specifically for Sideshow Collectibles SKU 810233 to confirm the exact grading protocols or condition checklists for this item. Generally, for high-end collectible figures, condition checks involve inspecting the packaging for shelf wear, verifying the integrity of the plastic for stress cracks or hairlines, and ensuring all accessories and articulation points are intact, but you should consult Sideshow's official grading guidelines or a certified third-party grader for authoritative standards.
