No, the LEGO Star Wars set 40547 (Obi-Wan Kenobi & Darth Vader) is not considered rare. It is a standard retail release from 2022 that was widely distributed through major retailers and LEGO stores. Lego does not produce a single retail set with SKU 40547; this number typically refers to a specific promotional or collector's item, often sold through Lego's online store or special events. To authenticate it, verify that the packaging is original and undamaged, and check that the minifigures and accessories match the official product images for that specific SKU. Look for the Lego logo and copyright date on the box, and ensure the minifigures have the correct color and print details, as counterfeit items often have slightly off-shade plastics or misaligned prints. If the item lacks a box or has signs of tampering, compare the weight and texture of the pieces against a known genuine set from the same era.
The Obi-Wan Kenobi & Darth Vader was released in 2022 by Lego.
Lego set 40547 (Obi-Wan Kenobi & Darth Vader) is currently out of print and no longer available to buy new directly from Lego. It was released in 2022 as part of the Star Wars series and has since been discontinued, meaning new stock is limited to remaining retailer inventory or third-party sellers.
To grade the LEGO 40547 Obi-Wan Kenobi & Darth Vader set, you should inspect the minifigures for yellowing, hairline cracks, or missing details, and check the baseplates for warping or loose studs. Since this is a 2022 release, common issues include faded printing on the robes and potential wear on the metal swords. For a formal grade, send the set to a third-party grading service like PSA or BGS, which will assign a numerical score based on color, clarity, and completeness of all 1,235 pieces.
