No, this figure is not considered rare. It is a standard production item from Funko’s 2018 Goldfinger movie series and was widely available through major retailers at the time of its release. While specific variants like chases or exclusives may be harder to find, the standard SKU 526 figure is a common collectible.
The retail value of the Funko Pop! Oddjob Holding Hat from Goldfinger (SKU 526) is typically between $12 and $15 for a new, sealed figure. Because this is a standard, non-exclusive release from 2018, it does not command a significant premium on the secondary market, and used copies generally sell for less than the original retail price.
To authenticate your Funko Pop! Oddjob Holding Hat from Goldfinger (SKU 526), first verify that the box features the official Funko logo and the specific product number 526 printed on the side or bottom. Inspect the figure for consistent paint application, proper seam alignment, and the correct sculpting of the hat and character details, as counterfeit items often exhibit sloppy molding or faded colors. While there is no single definitive test for authenticity, comparing your item to high-resolution images of the official 2018 release and checking for the presence of a holographic sticker on the box (if applicable to your specific regional variant) can help confirm its legitimacy. If the packaging and figure quality align with known genuine examples, the item is likely authentic.
