Common questions about the Oogie Boogie with Bugs Pop! Disney from Funko (2016).
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
The Oogie Boogie with Bugs Pop! Disney (SKU 230) is not considered rare, as it was a standard production figure released by Funko in 2016. Being part of the regular Disney line rather than a limited edition or exclusive release, it is widely available on the secondary market and does not command a significant premium over its original retail price.
The Oogie Boogie with Bugs Pop! Disney (SKU 230) typically retails for around $12 to $15, which is the standard price for most standard-sized Funko Pops. As a common 2016 release, its value in the secondary market generally hovers near or slightly below retail price, meaning it is not a significant investment and is best valued at its current retail cost.
To authenticate your Funko Pop! Oogie Boogie with Bugs (SKU 230), first verify that the box displays the official Funko logo, the Disney licensing mark, and the correct SKU number on the back. Inspect the vinyl figure for consistent paint application, sharp molding details, and a smooth finish, as counterfeit items often exhibit rough seams, bleeding paint, or off-color hues. Additionally, check the base for the standard Funko branding and ensure the figure fits securely within the window box without excessive play. If the packaging lacks these specific licensing elements or the figure feels lightweight and poorly molded, it is likely a reproduction.
The Oogie Boogie with Bugs Pop! Disney was released in 2016 by Funko.
The Oogie Boogie with Bugs Pop! Disney (SKU 230) is considered out of print and is no longer produced by Funko. While it is not available to buy new from official retail channels, the figure can occasionally be found on the secondary market through resellers, though prices often exceed the original retail value.
To condition-check a Funko Pop!, inspect the vinyl figure for any cracks, chips, or paint imperfections, paying close attention to the textured surface of Oogie Boogie and the smaller bug figures. Verify that the head is properly seated on the body and that the eyes are intact, as these are common points of failure. Examine the box for any dents, creases, or damage to the window, as the packaging condition significantly impacts the item's value for collectors.
