The Oompa Loompa Pop! Movies figure is not considered rare. It is a standard production item released by Funko in 2023 as part of the regular *Wonka* movie collection, meaning it was widely available and not limited in print run.
The retail value of the 2023 Oompa Loompa Pop! Movies figure (SKU 1501) is typically around $12.00 to $15.00. In the secondary market, prices for this specific figure generally fluctuate between $10.00 and $20.00 depending on current demand and condition.
To authenticate your Funko Pop! Oompa Loompa (SKU 1501), first verify that the box is sealed with the original shrink wrap and that the printed SKU on the bottom of the box matches the number 1501. Inspect the figure for consistent paint application, proper eye alignment, and the correct Funko logo on the base, as counterfeit items often feature blurry printing, misaligned eyes, or missing logos. You can also compare the specific design details, such as the hair texture and clothing folds, against official Funko product images to ensure accuracy.

Funko has not officially announced a discontinuation for the Oompa Loompa Pop! Movies figure, so it remains technically in print. However, availability fluctuates significantly, and the item is frequently out of stock at major retailers like Target, Walmart, and Amazon. You should check current inventory on Funko's official website or authorized third-party sellers to confirm immediate availability.
You should inspect the figure under bright light for common defects such as paint overspray, seam lines, or mold marks, paying close attention to the face and hands. Verify that the eyes are properly aligned and that the paint on the white hair and skin tones is crisp without smudging. If the figure is in its original box, check for any creases, tears, or "shelf wear" on the packaging, as this significantly impacts its value. For a formal grade, you can submit the item to a third-party grading service like PSA, which will assign a numerical score based on these condition factors.
