Common questions about the Orange Sour Patch Kid Pop! Candy from Funko (2019).
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
The Orange Sour Patch Kid Pop! Candy is not considered rare, as it was part of a standard mass-produced Funko Pop! Candy line released in 2019. These items were widely distributed through major retailers and online marketplaces, making them common finds in the secondary market.
There is no reliable market data available to establish a specific monetary value for the Orange Sour Patch Kid Pop! Candy, as this item is a promotional novelty candy rather than a standard collectible with a tracked secondary market. Its value is generally limited to its original retail price or negligible scrap value, depending on its condition and whether it is unopened.
I cannot provide a definitive authentication for your specific item without a physical inspection, as I do not have access to reliable information on the specific manufacturing flaws or verification methods for the 2019 Funko Pop! Candy line. To authenticate the figure, you should compare its packaging, box art, and figure details against high-resolution images from reputable collector databases or the official Funko website. If the item lacks the standard Funko branding, holographic stickers, or appears to have poor paint application and plastic quality, it may be a counterfeit.
The Orange Sour Patch Kid Pop! Candy was released in 2019 by Funko.
Funko has discontinued the Sour Patch Kids Pop! Candy line, including the Orange variety, so it is no longer in print. You will not be able to purchase this item new from official Funko retailers or major online marketplaces. It is now only available through the secondary market, such as eBay or other collectibles resellers, where prices are typically higher than the original retail value.
Pop! Candy figures are not officially graded by major third-party authentication services like PSA or CGC, so there is no standardized numerical grading scale for them. To assess condition, you should inspect the vinyl for surface scratches, paint chips, and mold lines, while also checking the packaging for any damage, creases, or signs of tampering. Since these items are mass-produced and often sold with the candy included, the value is primarily tied to the completeness of the original box and the absence of visible defects on the figure itself.
