Common questions about the Oscar The Grouch Pop! Television from Funko (2025).
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
No, the Oscar The Grouch Pop! Television is not considered rare. As a standard production item released in 2025, it is widely available through major retailers and Funko's own distribution channels. Its value is determined by standard market demand rather than limited production numbers.
As a 2025 release, the Oscar The Grouch Pop! Television (SKU 1793) is currently a new item, so its market value is primarily determined by its retail price rather than secondary market appreciation. Because the item has not yet established a long-term trading history, there is no reliable resale value to cite, and its worth will fluctuate based on initial consumer demand and availability.
I cannot verify the authenticity of a specific physical item without visual inspection, but you can check for common indicators of a genuine Funko Pop! Television by examining the packaging for a clear, high-resolution barcode and the official Funko logo. The figure itself should have a smooth, consistent plastic finish with sharp, well-defined sculpting, and the television screen should be securely attached with no visible gaps or loose parts. If the item was purchased from an authorized retailer, it is highly likely to be authentic, but buying from unofficial third-party sellers increases the risk of counterfeits.
The Oscar The Grouch Pop! Television was released in 2025 by Funko.
I cannot find reliable information confirming that the Oscar The Grouch Pop! Television (SKU 1793) is currently in print or available for purchase as a new item. Funko frequently rotates its inventory, and specific television-themed figures often have limited production runs, so its current availability status is uncertain without real-time stock data.
Grading a Funko Pop! Television figure involves inspecting the vinyl character for defects such as paint overspray, mold lines, or cracks, while also checking the electronic TV base for physical damage and verifying that the internal screen and sound functions operate correctly. Because this is a 2025 release, the item is likely too new for established third-party grading services to have standardized protocols, so you should rely on manufacturer condition standards and your own detailed inspection of both the collectible figure and the electronic components.
