Common questions about the Paddington with Suitcase Pop! Movies from Funko (2023).
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
No, the Paddington with Suitcase Pop! Movies figure (SKU 1435) is not considered rare. It is a standard mass-production item released in 2023 as part of Funko’s regular movie line, meaning it was widely available through major retailers and is not a limited edition or exclusive variant.
The value of the 2023 Paddington with Suitcase Pop! (SKU 1435) fluctuates based on condition and market demand, but it typically sells for between $8 and $15 in new, sealed condition. Prices for used figures are generally lower, often ranging from $5 to $10. For the most accurate current valuation, checking recent completed sales on secondary marketplaces like eBay is recommended.
To authenticate your Funko Pop! #1435 Paddington with Suitcase, first verify that the box displays the official Funko logo, the correct SKU number 1435, and the 2023 release year. Inspect the figure for high-quality paint application, sharp sculpting details, and a secure, well-fitted head that does not wobble excessively. Check the base for a clean, molded copyright mark and ensure the packaging includes the standard holographic sticker and barcode. If the figure exhibits poor paint, misaligned parts, or lacks these specific packaging identifiers, it is likely a counterfeit.
The Paddington with Suitcase Pop! Movies was released in 2023 by Funko.
Funko does not publicly disclose real-time inventory status for specific SKUs, so I cannot confirm with certainty if the 2023 Paddington with Suitcase Pop! is currently in print. However, because this figure was released in 2023 and is not part of a limited edition series, it is likely still available for purchase new through major retailers or Funko's official website, though stock levels may fluctuate.
Condition-checking a Funko Pop! involves inspecting the vinyl figure for scratches, paint chips, or misaligned parts, while also verifying that the box is free from significant damage, yellowing, or creasing. For a formal grade, you must submit the item to a third-party authentication service such as PSA, CGC, or Beckett, which will assign a numerical score based on their specific grading standards. Keep in mind that grading fees and turnaround times vary by service, and the process is irreversible, so ensure you are comfortable with the cost before sending the item.
