The Papa Nihil Pop! Rocks (SKU 169) is a standard production item from 2020, and its value is typically determined by its condition and whether it remains in its original sealed box. As a common release from a major manufacturer, it does not command a premium price on the secondary market, generally trading near its original retail value or slightly below. Specific market prices fluctuate, so checking current listings on major resale platforms is the most reliable way to determine its exact worth.
To authenticate your 2020 Funko Pop! Rocks Papa Nihil (SKU 169), first verify that the packaging is a sealed, shrink-wrapped box with the correct SKU number printed on the bottom. Examine the figure itself for consistent paint application, proper proportions, and the specific rock texture unique to the Pop! Rocks line, as counterfeit items often feature blurry printing or misaligned parts. While there is no official digital verification system for this specific item, you can compare your figure side-by-side with high-resolution images from reputable collector communities to identify any discrepancies in color or molding. If the item was purchased from an unauthorized reseller, the risk of it being a replica is higher, so scrutinize the quality of the plastic and the clarity of the Funko logo on the base.
The Papa Nihil Pop! Rocks was released in 2020 by Funko.
Funko has discontinued the production of the Papa Nihil Pop! Rocks figure, meaning it is no longer in print. Consequently, new stock is no longer available from official retailers, and collectors seeking the item must look to the secondary market for used or previously purchased copies.
Condition-checking a Funko Pop! Rocks figure like Papa Nihil (SKU 169) primarily involves inspecting the vinyl figure for surface scratches, paint chips, or mold lines, as these small figures are more susceptible to cosmetic damage than standard-sized Pops. You should also verify that the figure is securely seated within its base and that the packaging, if present, is free from significant dents or tears, since the box is a key component of the item's value. Unlike standard Pops, these figures do not typically undergo third-party grading, so their condition is assessed visually by the seller or buyer based on the integrity of the figure and its original packaging.
