No, the Patrick Bateman (with Axe) Pop! Movies figure is not considered rare. To authenticate your 2020 Patrick Bateman (with Axe) Pop! Movies figure (SKU 942), first verify that the packaging is a standard Funko Pop! box with the correct product name, the 2020 copyright date, and the SKU 942 printed on the bottom. Inspect the figure itself for consistent paint application, proper seam lines, and the specific accessory design, as counterfeit items often feature blurry printing, off-color plastic, or poorly molded details. While there is no unique serial number for standard retail figures, you can cross-reference the box art and figure proportions against high-resolution images from Funko's official website or reputable collector databases to confirm authenticity.

To condition-check this Funko Pop!, inspect the figure for common defects such as paint overspray, missing eyes, or cracks in the plastic, paying particular attention to the axe accessory and the character's facial features. Since this is a standard vinyl figure, it is not typically graded by major third-party services like PSA or Beckett, which focus primarily on trading cards and specific high-value collectibles. Instead, value is determined by its condition relative to the original packaging, so you should verify that the box is intact and the figure is sealed if you are assessing it for resale.
