No, the Patrick Bateman (with Knife) Pop! Movies figure is not considered rare. It is a standard production item released in 2020 and is widely available in the secondary market. While specific variants like chases or exclusions may be scarcer, the base figure with the knife accessory is a common collectible.
The value of the Patrick Bateman (with Knife) Funko Pop! (SKU 943) varies significantly based on condition, with sealed figures typically trading between $15 and $30 while loose figures often sell for less. As a standard release from 2020, this item does not command a premium price in the secondary market compared to limited edition or exclusive variants. For the most accurate current valuation, you should check recent completed sales on platforms like eBay or StockX, as prices fluctuate with market demand.
To authenticate your 2020 Patrick Bateman (with Knife) Pop! Movies figure, first verify that the box features the standard Funko branding and that the figure itself has the correct SKU 943 printed on the packaging. Inspect the knife accessory closely, as genuine items have a specific molded shape and finish that counterfeit versions often replicate poorly with uneven plastic or incorrect proportions. You can also cross-reference the figure's details, such as the facial expression and clothing texture, against high-resolution images from Funko's official catalog or reputable collector databases. If the packaging feels flimsy, the print quality is low, or the figure lacks the typical Funko weight and molding precision, it is likely a counterfeit.

To condition-check a Funko Pop!, inspect the vinyl figure for surface scratches, paint chips, or mold seams, and verify that the accessory knife is intact and securely attached. Check the box for any dents, creases, or damage to the window, as these factors significantly impact value. For a formal grade, you can submit the item to a third-party grading service, though most collectors simply assess the condition visually based on these specific physical attributes.
