The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
No, the Paul Feig Pop! Movies figure is not considered rare. It is a standard production item from Funko's 2016 release, and because it was not a limited edition, it remains widely available in the secondary market. Collectors generally categorize this SKU as a common item rather than a scarce one.
There is no specific "Paul Feig" character in the Funko Pop! Movies line, as the collection features characters from films rather than directors. Consequently, a SKU 344 attributed to Paul Feig does not correspond to a recognized or valued collectible item in the market.
Funko Pop! Movies #344, featuring Paul Feig, was released in 2016 and is a standard production item that does not require complex authentication. To verify authenticity, check that the figure is made of solid vinyl with a smooth finish, the box displays the correct SKU and copyright information, and the character's likeness matches official Funko reference images. If the figure feels lightweight, has rough seams, or the packaging looks counterfeit, it is likely a replica.

Funko has discontinued the Paul Feig Pop! Movies figure (SKU 344), so it is no longer in print or available to purchase new from the manufacturer. Collectors seeking this item must look to the secondary market, such as eBay or specialized toy resellers, where prices are typically higher than the original retail value.
Condition-checking a Funko Pop! figure primarily involves inspecting the vinyl for surface defects such as scratches, hairline cracks, or paint imperfections under bright, direct light. You should also verify that the figure is securely seated on its base without any wobble and that the packaging is free from significant wear, tears, or discoloration if you are evaluating it as a sealed item. While professional grading services like PSA can assign a numerical grade to sealed figures, most collectors assess the condition of loose figures informally based on the presence of these visible flaws.
