The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
No, the Paul Goldschmidt Pop! MLB figure is not considered rare. It is a standard mass-produced item from Funko’s 2020 MLB line, meaning it was widely distributed and is generally easy to find in new or used condition.
The value of a 2020 Paul Goldschmidt Funko Pop! MLB figure varies significantly based on its condition and whether it is sold in the original box, with unopened retail copies typically trading in the range of $10 to $25. Because this is a standard production item from a major league player, it does not command a premium price like limited edition or autographed variants. For the most accurate current market value, you should check recent sold listings on secondary marketplaces like eBay.
To authenticate your Paul Goldschmidt Pop! MLB figure, first verify that the box and figure match the official 2020 release specifications, including the correct SKU number 35 and the standard Funko logo on the packaging. Inspect the vinyl for consistent molding, clean paint application without bleeding, and the correct team logo and jersey details specific to the 2020 version. If the figure appears to be a replica, check for common counterfeits such as poor font quality on the nameplate, incorrect eye color, or a missing or poorly printed copyright date on the base.
The Paul Goldschmidt Pop! MLB was released in 2020 by Funko.

There is no official third-party grading service for Funko Pop! vinyl figures, so you should assess the condition yourself by inspecting the figure for common defects such as paint overspray, scratches, or molding errors. Check the packaging for any damage, as the box is a significant component of the item's value, and note that the 2020 release of Paul Goldschmidt is a standard production figure that does not require specialized authentication.
