Common questions about the Pedro Pop! Movies from Funko (2023).
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
The Pedro Pop! Movies figure is not considered rare, as it is a standard production item released in 2023 with a common SKU of 1282. It is widely available through major retailers and secondary markets, meaning it does not carry the scarcity premium associated with limited edition or exclusive variants.
The Pedro Pop! Movies figure (SKU 1282) is a standard retail item that typically sells for around $12 to $15 in new condition. Because it is a common release, its value does not significantly exceed the original retail price unless it is part of a complete set or has a specific manufacturing defect.
I cannot verify the authenticity of a specific physical item without visual inspection or access to the item's packaging and manufacturing details. To authenticate a Funko Pop, you should examine the box for the official Funko logo, check for a holographic sticker, and verify that the SKU 1282 matches the printed product information on the packaging. Additionally, inspect the vinyl figure for consistent paint application, proper seam lines, and the correct character likeness, as counterfeit items often exhibit poor quality control in these areas.

Grading a Pedro Pop! Movies vinyl figure involves inspecting the surface for manufacturing defects such as paint overspray, seam lines, or molding imperfections, as well as checking for signs of wear like scuffs or discoloration. While third-party grading services like PSA can assign a numerical grade based on these factors, most collectors simply assess the item as "mint" if it is unopened in its original box or "used" if the figure has been removed and shows any visible flaws. There is no standardized internal grading scale specific to this SKU, so condition is generally determined by the presence or absence of these common vinyl defects.
