Common questions about the Pennywise (Meltdown) Pop! Movies from Funko (2020).
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
The Pennywise (Meltdown) Pop! Movies figure is not considered rare, as it was a standard production release from 2020. While Meltdown variants are generally more sought after than standard figures, this specific SKU was widely available in retail stores and online, meaning it does not carry the scarcity of limited editions or exclusive releases.
The value of a Funko Pop! Movies Pennywise (Meltdown) #875 varies significantly based on its condition and whether it is still in the box. As a standard vinyl figure released in 2020, it typically trades in the secondary market for a modest amount, generally ranging from $10 to $25 for a loose figure and slightly more if sealed, assuming no major defects. Because Funko Pop! values fluctuate with market trends and specific collector demand, checking current listings on platforms like eBay or StockX is the most reliable way to determine its precise market value today.
To authenticate your Funko Pop! #875 Pennywise (Meltdown), verify that the box is sealed with the official Funko logo and that the figure itself features the correct glossy, translucent "meltdown" finish on the clown's face and hands. Check the bottom of the figure for the embossed "Funko" logo and ensure the packaging includes a valid SKU number (875) and copyright date consistent with the 2020 release. If the paint application is sloppy, the plastic feels brittle, or the box lacks standard security features like holographic stickers, the item may be a counterfeit.
The Pennywise (Meltdown) Pop! Movies was released in 2020 by Funko.
Funko has discontinued the Pennywise (Meltdown) Pop! Movies figure, meaning it is no longer in print or available to purchase new from the manufacturer. Collectors seeking this specific item must look to the secondary market, where prices are typically higher than the original retail value.
To condition-check a Pennywise (Meltdown) Pop! Movies, inspect the vinyl figure for surface scratches, paint chips, or mold lines, paying close attention to the face and the melting effect details. Verify that the head articulation is secure and that the base is free from cracks or scuffs. Since this is a standard vinyl figure, it does not require professional third-party grading like trading cards, so a visual inspection against a known good example is the primary method for assessing its condition.
