No, the Pennywise w/ Balloon Pop! Movies figure is not considered rare. It was a standard production item released by Funko in 2017 and was widely available through major retailers and online marketplaces. The value of a 2017 Funko Pop! Movies Pennywise with Balloon (SKU 475) varies significantly based on its condition and packaging. A sealed, mint-condition figure typically sells for approximately $15 to $30, while an unboxed figure in good condition generally ranges from $5 to $10. Prices can fluctuate depending on current market demand and the specific platform used for sale.
To authenticate your Funko Pop! Movies Pennywise with Balloon (SKU 475), first verify that the packaging is intact and the figure is sealed in the original box, as unopened items are the standard for resale value. Examine the figure for consistent paint application, correct proportions, and the specific balloon accessory, noting that the 2017 release typically features a standard 3.75-inch vinyl body. If the item is unsealed, you can cross-reference the SKU and release year against Funko’s official catalog or reputable collector databases to confirm the design matches the original production run. Be aware that while the figure itself is a mass-produced collectible, its authenticity is primarily determined by the integrity of the original packaging and the absence of third-party modifications.

Pop! Movies figures are mass-produced vinyl items that do not have a standardized professional grading scale comparable to trading cards or comic books. To condition-check this figure, inspect the vinyl for surface scratches, paint chips, or mold lines, and verify that the balloon accessory is intact and securely attached. Check the base for any scuffs or damage, as these are common wear points. The primary value determinant for this specific SKU is whether the figure is still sealed in its original box, as unboxed figures generally command a significantly lower market price.
