Common questions about the Piplup Pop! Games from Funko (2022 2024).
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
The Piplup Pop! Games figure is not considered rare, as it is a standard production item released by Funko in 2022 and re-released in 2024. Being part of a widely available line, it is generally easy to find in retail stores and online marketplaces.
The Piplup Pop! Games figure (SKU 865) is a standard retail collectible that typically trades for its original retail price of approximately $12.99 to $14.99 when new in box. Used copies generally sell for less, often in the range of $5 to $10, depending on condition and local market demand. As a common release from a major manufacturer, it does not carry significant premium value for collectors.
You can authenticate your Piplup Pop! Games figure by checking the packaging for the official Funko logo, the "Games" series branding, and the specific SKU number 865 printed on the box. Examine the vinyl for consistent paint application, sharp sculpting details, and a clean seam line, as counterfeit items often feature blurry printing or rough edges. Additionally, verify that the figure's base is solid and that the window on the box is sealed with the standard Funko holographic sticker.
The Piplup Pop! Games was released in 2022 2024 by Funko.
Funko does not publish a public list of current in-print items, so the specific production status of the Piplup Pop! Games (SKU 865) cannot be confirmed without checking real-time inventory. While the item was released in 2022, Funko frequently discontinues specific figures from the Games line after a certain period, making it likely that this figure is no longer manufactured. You should check major retailers like Amazon, Target, or the official Funko website to see if new stock is currently available.
Grading a Piplup Pop! Games figure involves inspecting the vinyl for common defects such as paint overspray, mold lines, or cracks, while also checking the packaging for shelf wear, box crushing, or seal integrity. For a formal grade, you can submit the item to a third-party grading service like PSA, which will assign a numerical score based on these physical attributes. Keep in mind that grading fees and turnaround times vary by service, and the process is not necessary if you are simply buying or selling the item at retail value.
