No, the Pizza Rat Pop! Icons is not considered rare. It was a standard retail release by Funko in 2020 and was widely available through major retailers and online marketplaces. Because it was not a limited edition or exclusive variant, it remains a common collectible with a stable and accessible market presence.
The Pizza Rat Pop! Icons figure, released by Funko in 2020, is a common item that typically sells for between $5 and $10 in new, sealed condition on the secondary market. Its value is generally lower than standard Pop! Vinyl figures due to the smaller size and higher production volume of the Icons line. Prices can fluctuate slightly based on current demand and the condition of the packaging, but it does not carry a significant premium over its original retail price.
To authenticate your Pizza Rat Pop! Icons, first verify that the box is sealed with a holographic sticker and that the figure itself has the "Funko" logo molded into the base. Check for consistent paint application, sharp sculpting details, and the correct SKU number (54) printed on the packaging. Be aware that Pizza Rat is a limited-edition figure, so if your item lacks the standard retail box or appears to have poor manufacturing quality, it is likely a counterfeit.
The Pizza Rat Pop! Icons was released in 2020 by Funko.
The Pizza Rat Pop! Icons figure is no longer in print and is not available for purchase directly from Funko. As a 2020 release, it is considered a discontinued item, meaning new stock is limited to remaining inventory at third-party retailers or the secondary market.
Pop! Icons are officially graded by the Professional Grading Services (PGS), which is the grading arm of Funko. To have your Pizza Rat figure graded, you must submit it directly to PGS through their official submission portal, where it will be evaluated on a 10-point scale based on factors like paint, seams, and overall condition. While third-party grading companies exist, PGS is the only service recognized by Funko for official certification, and you should verify current submission fees and turnaround times on the PGS website before sending your item.
