Common questions about the PK Subban Pop! Hockey from Funko.
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
No, the PK Subban Pop! Hockey figure is not considered rare. It is a standard production item from Funko’s main hockey line and was widely available in retail stores and online during its release window. While specific variants like Chase or Exclusive editions may be harder to find, the base SKU 55 figure is a common collectible that can typically be found in the secondary market.
The value of a PK Subban Pop! Hockey figure varies significantly based on its condition, packaging, and current market demand, as it is a standard retail item rather than a rare collectible. Unopened figures typically sell for prices close to their original retail value, while opened figures generally have lower resale value. For the most accurate and up-to-date pricing, you should check recent completed sales on secondary marketplaces like eBay.
Authenticating a PK Subban Pop! Hockey figure requires comparing it to official Funko product images, specifically checking for the correct proportions, paint application, and the distinct "Pop!" logo on the base. Genuine figures typically have a smooth, consistent plastic finish and a securely attached head, whereas counterfeits often exhibit rough seams, misaligned eyes, or a flimsy feel. You can verify the authenticity of your specific item by checking the SKU number on the packaging against Funko's official catalog, though Funko does not provide individual serial number verification for standard vinyl figures.
I cannot find reliable information confirming the specific release date for the PK Subban Pop! Hockey figure with SKU 55.
Funko has discontinued the PK Subban Pop! Hockey figure, so it is no longer in print and cannot be purchased new directly from the manufacturer. This item is now only available through the secondary market, such as online resale platforms, where prices are typically higher than the original retail value.
There is no official third-party grading service for standard Funko Pop! figures, so you cannot obtain a certified grade for this item. To condition-check the figure, you should inspect it for common defects such as paint chips, scratches, or molding errors, and verify that the head is properly seated on the body without gaps. For the most accurate assessment of its value, compare the specific condition of your figure against recent sold listings on secondary marketplaces like eBay.
