No, the Plane Crazy Mickey Pop! Disney (SKU 431) is not considered rare. It is a standard production item from Funko's Disney collection that was widely distributed through major retailers and online marketplaces. While its current availability may vary depending on whether it has been discontinued, it was never a limited edition or exclusive release.
The value of a Funko Pop! Plane Crazy Mickey (SKU 431) fluctuates based on condition, packaging, and market demand, but it typically sells for between $15 and $30 in retail condition. Prices can be higher if the figure is in a sealed box with a certificate of authenticity or if it is a rare variant, while open figures generally command lower prices. For the most accurate current valuation, checking recent sold listings on secondary marketplaces like eBay is recommended.
To authenticate a Funko Pop! figure, first verify that the box is sealed with the official Funko holographic sticker and that the figure itself has the correct weight and paint quality for the specific SKU. Check the base for the official Funko logo and ensure the eyes are properly aligned and glossy, as poor paint application or misaligned eyes are common signs of counterfeits. Since Funko does not provide individual serial numbers for standard retail figures, purchasing from an authorized retailer is the most reliable way to ensure authenticity.
The Plane Crazy Mickey Pop! Disney (SKU 431) was released in 2017. This figure is part of the Disney Pop! Vinyl collection and features Mickey Mouse in his classic 1928 "Plane Crazy" attire.
Funko has discontinued the Plane Crazy Mickey Pop! (SKU 431), meaning it is no longer in print and cannot be purchased new from the manufacturer. This item is currently only available through the secondary market, such as online resale platforms, where prices and availability fluctuate based on collector demand.
To grade a Plane Crazy Mickey Pop! Disney, you should inspect the vinyl for surface scratches, paint chips, and molding defects, paying close attention to the character's ears and the propeller details. Verify that the figure is securely seated on the base without gaps or loose joints, as these are common issues with this SKU. For an official grade, submit the item to a professional service like PSA or Beckett, which will assign a numerical score based on a standardized condition scale.
