The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
No, the Po with Dumplings Pop! Movies figure is not considered rare. It is a standard production item released in 2024 that was widely available through major retailers and Funko's direct channels. Because it is a common release with high production numbers, it does not carry the scarcity value associated with limited edition or exclusive variants.
There is no established market value for the Po with Dumplings Pop! Movies figure (SKU 1526) because it is a recent 2024 release that has not yet developed a stable secondary market price. As a new item, its value is primarily determined by its original retail price, and any potential appreciation in the collectibles market remains speculative until more trading data becomes available.
I cannot verify the authenticity of a specific physical item without inspecting it in person. To authenticate your Funko Pop, check the box for the official Funko logo, a barcode, and a copyright date, and ensure the vinyl figure has a smooth, consistent finish without visible mold lines or paint overspray. You can also cross-reference the SKU 1526 and the 2024 release date against Funko’s official product listings to confirm the item matches the manufacturer’s specifications for that year.
The Po with Dumplings Pop! Movies was released in 2024 by Funko.
Funko does not publicly disclose specific production run sizes or exact discontinuation dates for individual Pop! figures, so it is difficult to confirm with certainty if this specific 2024 release is still in active print. You should check current inventory on major retailers like Amazon, Target, or the official Funko website to see if new stock is available, as availability for recent releases can fluctuate rapidly.
To grade a Funko Pop!, you should first inspect the figure for common defects such as paint overspray, mold lines, or misaligned eyes, and verify that the original box is free of significant damage like creases or fading. For a formal grade, you can submit the item to a third-party grading service like PSA, which will evaluate the figure and packaging on a 1-10 scale, though this process involves fees and turnaround time. Many collectors simply assess the condition visually by comparing the item to known standards for "mint" versus "played" figures, noting that the 2024 release date means the item should generally be in pristine condition if unopened.
