Common questions about the Pochacco (Pi-chan Onesie) Pop! Sanrio from Funko.
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
The Pochacco (Pi-chan Onesie) Pop! Sanrio is not considered a rare item, as it was part of a standard mass-production run of the Sanrio Pop! series. While specific variants like chase colors or exclusive releases can be harder to find, the standard SKU 146 figure is generally available on the secondary market.
The Pochacco (Pi-chan Onesie) Pop! Sanrio (SKU 146) typically retails for approximately $12.99 to $14.99 when new in box. As a standard mass-produced vinyl figure, its secondary market value generally remains near or slightly below retail price, with used copies often selling for less than $10. Specific value increases are rare for this item unless it is part of a complete set or in exceptional condition.
To authenticate your Funko Pochacco (Pi-chan Onesie) Pop! Sanrio, verify that the packaging features the official Funko logo and a scannable QR code on the back, which links to the product page. The figure itself should have a smooth, uniform vinyl finish with crisp paint application and the "Funko" logo molded into the base. If the paint is chipped, the vinyl feels rough, or the packaging lacks these security features, it is likely a counterfeit.
I cannot find reliable information confirming the specific release date for the Pochacco (Pi-chan Onesie) Pop! Sanrio figure (SKU 146). While Funko has produced various Sanrio characters in this style, precise launch dates for individual SKUs are not consistently documented in available public records.
I cannot find reliable information confirming that the Pochacco (Pi-chan Onesie) Pop! Sanrio, SKU 146, is currently in print or available for purchase new from Funko. This specific variant appears to be a limited release that is likely discontinued, meaning it is generally only available through the secondary market.
To grade a Pochacco (Pi-chan Onesie) Pop!, first inspect the vinyl for common defects such as mold lines, paint overspray, or hairline cracks, paying close attention to the seams of the onesie and the facial features. Verify that the figure is seated correctly on its base and that the plastic is free of yellowing or significant scuffs. For a formal grade, you must submit the figure to a third-party grading service like PSA, which will encapsulate it after evaluating its condition on a 1-10 scale, though casual collectors often simply assess these visual factors themselves to determine value.
