Common questions about the Pongo & Perdita Pop! Disney from Funko.
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
The Pongo & Perdita Pop! Disney figure is not considered rare, as it is a standard production item from Funko's ongoing Disney line. It is widely available through major retailers and Funko's own channels, meaning it does not have limited production numbers or exclusive distribution restrictions that would classify it as a rare collectible.
The value of a Pongo & Perdita Pop! Disney figure typically ranges from $10 to $25 for a new, unopened box, depending on current retail availability and local market demand. As a standard production item from a major franchise, it does not command a significant premium over its original retail price unless it is part of a specific limited edition or exclusive variant.
There is no official Funko Pop! figure released for the specific pairing of Pongo and Perdita, as the company has not produced a dedicated figure for these characters from *101 Dalmatians*. Consequently, any item marketed as a "Pongo & Perdita Pop!" is likely a counterfeit, a mislabeled third-party product, or a confusion with a different Disney character. To authenticate a Funko, you should verify the presence of the official Funko logo on the box, check for the unique serial number on the bottom of the figure, and compare the packaging and figure quality against verified listings on Funko's official website or reputable resale platforms.
The Pongo & Perdita Pop! Disney figure was released in 2023. It is part of the Disney 100th Anniversary collection, which was launched to commemorate the centennial of the Walt Disney Company.
The Pongo & Perdita Pop! Disney figure is currently out of print and is no longer available to purchase new directly from Funko. Because it is a retired item, new copies are generally only obtainable through the secondary market, such as eBay or other resale platforms, where prices often exceed the original retail value.
Condition-checking a Pongo & Perdita Pop! involves inspecting the vinyl for surface scratches, paint chips, and mold lines, with particular attention to the long fur textures on Pongo and Perdita, which are prone to snagging or breaking. Verify that the eyes are properly painted and aligned, and check the base for any cracks or stress fractures. If you are seeking a formal grade, submit the figure to a third-party authentication service like PSA, which will evaluate the item's overall condition and assign a numerical score based on their specific grading criteria.
