Common questions about the Prince Ali Pop! Disney from Funko.
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
No, the Prince Ali Pop! (SKU 475) is not considered rare. It is a standard production figure from the Disney Princess line that was widely distributed through major retail channels. While sealed boxes can command a premium over loose figures due to condition preservation, the item itself is readily available on the secondary market and does not possess limited production status.
The value of a Prince Ali Pop! Disney figure (SKU 475) varies significantly based on its condition and whether it is sold new in box, used, or as a loose figure. As a standard, non-limited edition item, it typically trades for a modest amount, often below its original retail price, unless it is part of a complete set or has specific collector demand. For the most accurate current market value, checking recent completed sales on platforms like eBay is recommended.
To authenticate a Prince Ali Pop! (SKU 475), verify that the figure includes the standard Funko Pop! box with a holographic sticker and a barcode matching the SKU. Inspect the vinyl for consistent molding, sharp facial details, and the correct color scheme, as counterfeit figures often exhibit poor paint application or blurry features. You can also cross-reference the box design and window shape against official Funko Pop! images to ensure the packaging matches the manufacturer's specifications for that release.
The Prince Ali Pop! Vinyl Figure (SKU 475) was released in 2017. It was part of the initial wave of Disney Pop! figures launched that year to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Walt Disney Company.
Funko has discontinued the Prince Ali Pop! Disney figure, so it is no longer in print. You cannot purchase this item new directly from Funko or major retail partners, and it is now only available through the secondary market such as eBay, Amazon, or specialized collectible shops.
To condition-check a Prince Ali Pop! Disney, inspect the vinyl for surface scratches, paint chips, or mold lines, paying close attention to the character's facial features and accessories. Verify that the figure is securely seated within its base and that the packaging, if present, is free of tears, creases, or fading. For a formal grade, you must submit the figure to a professional third-party grading service, as there is no standardized retail grading scale for individual Pop! figures.
