The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
No, the Princess Irulan Pop! Movies figure is not considered rare. It is a standard production item from Funko's 2024 Dune Part Two movie collection, which was released in large quantities. While specific variants like Chase or Glow-in-the-Dark versions may have lower print runs, the standard SKU 1498 is a common release.
As a 2024 release, the Princess Irulan Pop! Movies figure (SKU 1498) is currently a new item with no established secondary market value. Its worth is generally determined by the retail price paid at the time of purchase, as it has not yet accumulated the age or scarcity required for a significant collector's premium.
To authenticate your 2024 Princess Irulan Pop! Movies figure (SKU 1498), verify that the packaging is a standard Funko Pop! box with the correct product number and barcode printed on the side. Inspect the vinyl for consistent paint application, sharp sculpting details, and the official Funko logo on the base, as counterfeit items often exhibit blurry printing, uneven seams, or missing branding. While there is no single universal serial number for standard retail releases, cross-referencing the SKU against Funko’s official catalog and checking for high-quality packaging materials are the most reliable methods for confirming authenticity.
The Princess Irulan Pop! Movies was released in 2024 by Funko.
As of early 2025, the Princess Irulan Pop! Movies figure (SKU 1498) is generally considered out of print and is no longer available for purchase new from Funko's official online store. This figure was released as part of a limited run tied to the 2024 Dune: Part Two movie, and such movie-specific exclusions are typically discontinued once the theatrical window closes. While it may occasionally appear on the secondary market, new stock is no longer being produced or distributed by the manufacturer.
Condition-checking a Funko Pop! involves inspecting the figure for common defects such as paint overspray, seam lines, or misaligned eyes, and verifying that the head is properly seated on the body. For a formal grade, you must submit the figure to a third-party authentication service like PSA, which will encapsulate it and assign a numerical score based on its physical state. Be aware that grading fees and turnaround times vary by service, and the process is not necessary if you only intend to keep the figure for personal display.
