To authenticate your Funko Proto Punk Pop! [Fantastik Plastik] Special Edition, verify that the figure is made of vinyl with the specific translucent finish and color scheme unique to the 2021 Fantastik Plastik line, and check for the "Funko" logo on the base. Look for the copyright date "©2021" or "©2021 Funko" on the bottom of the figure or the box, along with the specific SKU number for that release. If the figure is in its original packaging, ensure the box seal is intact and the window is clear, as these figures were often sold exclusively through specific retailers or conventions. If you have concerns about the material quality or markings, consulting a certified appraiser or comparing the item to high-resolution images from the official Funko website is the most reliable method for verification.

There is no official third-party grading service, such as PSA, that currently assigns numerical grades to Funko Pop! vinyl figures. To assess the condition of a Proto Punk Pop! Special Edition, you should visually inspect the vinyl for common defects like mold lines, paint overspray, or "ghosting" on the surface, while also verifying that the box is free of significant damage, creases, or fading.
