The Pumbaa (Live Action) Pop! Disney is not considered rare, as it was part of the standard 2019 retail release for the live-action *The Lion King* film. Being a mass-produced item with a standard SKU, it is widely available in the secondary market and does not carry the limited production numbers or exclusivity status that define rare Funko figures.
The Pumbaa (Live Action) Pop! Disney (SKU 550) is a standard retail figure that typically sells for its original retail price of $12.99 USD when new in box. Because it is a common, non-exclusive release from 2019, it does not command a premium in the secondary market, and used copies generally trade for less than the retail price.
To authenticate your Pumbaa (Live Action) Pop! Disney, first verify that the box displays the correct SKU 550 and the 2019 release year, as these details align with the official product listing. Inspect the figure for consistent paint application, sharp sculpting, and the standard Funko logo on the base, while ensuring the box seal is intact and the window is clear. If the packaging or figure exhibits significant deviations from these specifications, such as misaligned printing or poor plastic quality, it may be a counterfeit, and you should compare it against high-resolution images from Funko's official catalog.
