Common questions about the Pusheen Mermaid Pop! Pusheen from Funko.
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
The Pusheen Mermaid Pop! is not considered a rare item in the collectibles market. It is a standard production figure from the Funko Pop! line, and while specific SKU numbers can vary by release year, this character has been widely available through major retailers and convention exclusives. Consequently, its value is generally stable and does not carry the scarcity premium associated with limited-edition or discontinued variants.
The value of the Pusheen Mermaid Pop! Pusheen (SKU 13) fluctuates based on condition, with unopened figures typically selling for between $10 and $25 on the secondary market. Because this is a standard, non-limited edition release, it does not command a significant premium over its original retail price. Prices can vary slightly depending on current demand and the specific marketplace, so checking recent sold listings on platforms like eBay provides the most accurate current valuation.
To authenticate a Funko Pop! figure, first inspect the packaging for the official Funko logo, the specific SKU number (13), and the age recommendation label, ensuring the box is sealed with the standard shrink wrap. Examine the figure itself for consistent paint application, proper alignment of the plastic parts, and the correct sculpting details specific to the Mermaid Pusheen design. If the figure lacks the "Funko" branding on the base or exhibits poor molding quality, it is likely a counterfeit, and you can verify the SKU against Funko's official product listings for further confirmation.
I cannot find reliable information confirming a specific release date for a "Pusheen Mermaid" Pop! figure. While Funko has released various seasonal and themed Pusheen figures, there is no widely documented record for this specific variant, so I cannot provide a verified release date.
The Pusheen Mermaid Pop! is a limited edition item that is no longer in production. It is not available to buy new from Funko or authorized retailers, meaning the only way to acquire it is through the secondary market.
To grade a Pusheen Mermaid Pop! Vinyle, first inspect the figure for common defects such as paint transfer, mold lines, or scratches on the vinyl surface. Verify that the character is seated correctly within the acrylic display box and that the box itself is free from dents, creases, or fading. For a formal market valuation, the item must be submitted to a professional grading service like PSA, which will assign a numerical score based on the condition of both the figure and its packaging.
