The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
No, the Puss In Boots (Cute Eyes) Pop! Movies figure is not considered rare. It is a standard production item released in 2024 as part of the regular Funko Pop! Movies line, meaning it was widely distributed to major retailers and is generally easy to find in stores or online.
The retail value of the Puss In Boots (Cute Eyes) Pop! Movies figure is typically between $10 and $15, which is the standard price point for a standard 3.75-inch Funko Pop. As a 2024 release, this item is currently in active production and widely available, meaning it does not command a premium over its original retail price. Collectors should expect to find it at full retail in major toy stores and online retailers, with used copies generally trading at or slightly below that same price range.
To authenticate your Funko Puss In Boots (Cute Eyes) Pop! Movies figure, verify that the packaging features the official Funko logo and the specific SKU number 1596 on the box. Inspect the figure for consistent paint application, proper seam alignment, and the distinct "cute eyes" design characteristic of this variant, as counterfeit items often exhibit poor molding or inaccurate color matching. If the item was purchased from an authorized retailer, it is highly likely to be genuine, but you can confirm authenticity by comparing the figure's details against high-resolution images from Funko's official catalog.
The Puss In Boots (Cute Eyes) Pop! Movies was released in 2024 by Funko.
Funko does not publicly release a definitive list of which specific Pop! Vinyl figures are currently in print versus out of print. Because inventory fluctuates rapidly and this item is from a recent release year, its availability depends entirely on current stock levels at major retailers. To determine if it is still being produced, you should check the "In Stock" status on official Funko or major retailer websites, as a lack of availability often indicates the item has been discontinued.
Condition-checking a Funko Pop! involves inspecting the vinyl figure for scratches, paint chips, and molding defects, while also verifying that the box is free of dents, creases, and shelf wear. For this specific 2024 release, you should ensure the "Cute Eyes" variant is correctly identified and that the figure is securely seated in the display window without excessive movement. If you are seeking a formal grade for resale value, the figure must be professionally graded by a third-party service such as PSA, which will assign a numerical score based on these physical attributes.
