Common questions about the Quasimodo (King of Fools) Pop! Disney from Funko.
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
No, the Quasimodo (King of Fools) Pop! Disney is not considered rare. It is a standard mass-produced figure from the Disney line, and while specific production runs may vary, it is widely available through major retailers and secondary markets. Collectors generally do not classify this SKU as a limited edition or exclusive variant.
The value of a Quasimodo (King of Fools) Pop! Disney figure (SKU 634) typically ranges from $10 to $25 for a new, unopened box, depending on current market availability. Because this is a standard production figure rather than a limited edition, its price is largely determined by retail stock levels and demand for the specific character. For an accurate, real-time valuation, it is best to check recent completed sales on secondary marketplaces like eBay.
To authenticate your Quasimodo (King of Fools) Pop! Disney, verify that the figure is made of vinyl with a smooth finish and that the box features the official Funko logo and a holographic sticker. Check the bottom of the figure for a molded copyright symbol and the year of manufacture, which should align with the release date of the King of Fools series. If the paint is chipped, the box lacks the standard Funko branding, or the figure feels like a soft plastic rather than hard vinyl, it is likely a counterfeit.
Funko does not publish specific release dates for individual Pop! Vinyl figures in their official product documentation. While the Quasimodo (King of Fools) figure is part of the Disney collection, precise launch timing is not reliably recorded in standard manufacturer data.
Funko has not officially announced that the Quasimodo (King of Fools) Pop! Disney (SKU 634) is discontinued, so it remains technically in print. However, availability for this specific figure is often inconsistent, and it may be out of stock at major retailers for extended periods. To purchase a new copy, you should check current inventory at authorized Funko retailers or the official Funko website, as stock levels fluctuate.
There is no official grading service for Funko Pop! figures, so condition is typically assessed by individual buyers or sellers using informal community standards. You should inspect the figure for common defects such as paint transfer, hairline cracks in the vinyl, misaligned eyes, or scratches on the packaging. For a reliable check, compare the item against high-resolution photos of a known "mint" example and look specifically for damage to the head, hands, and base, as these are the most frequently damaged areas.
