Sideshow Collectibles did not produce a standalone R5-D4 figure in 2016, as the company's Star Wars product lines during that period focused on characters like Darth Vader, Luke Skywalker, and Boba Fett. Because this specific item does not appear in Sideshow's official release history, it is likely a misidentified product, a third-party reproduction, or a custom modification. To authenticate the item, you should verify the specific product number against Sideshow's official archives or consult a certified appraiser, as there is no standard authentication protocol for a non-existent factory release.
