Sideshow Collectibles did not release a standalone R5-D4 figure in 2016, as the company's Star Wars product lines during that period focused primarily on characters like Darth Vader, Boba Fett, and Han Solo. Consequently, if you possess an item labeled as a 2016 Sideshow R5-D4, it is likely a mislabeled product, a third-party reproduction, or a confusion with a different manufacturer or year. To authenticate the item, you should examine the packaging for Sideshow's specific logo, UPC codes, and copyright notices, and compare the physical details against verified images of Sideshow's actual 2016 catalog releases.
