Sideshow Collectibles did not release a standalone R5-J2 figure in 2016, as the company is primarily known for high-end 1/6th and 1/4th scale statues and action figures of major characters rather than specific astromech droids from that year. Consequently, if you possess an item labeled as a 2016 Sideshow R5-J2, it is likely a misidentified product, a third-party reproduction, or a counterfeit, and you should verify the item against official Sideshow release archives or consult a professional appraiser for authentication.

The R5-J2 Imperial Astromech Droid by Sideshow Collectibles is no longer in print and is not available to purchase new from the manufacturer. This 2016 release is a discontinued item, so current availability is limited to the secondary market through third-party resellers.
There is no standardized third-party grading service for Sideshow Collectibles figures, so value is determined by the seller's description of the item's condition. You should inspect the figure for common defects such as paint transfer on the droid's panels, hairline cracks in the plastic, and discoloration or yellowing of the clear plastic components. Additionally, check the articulation points for looseness and verify that the included accessories and display base are intact and free from significant wear.
