No, the Rafiki (Live Action) Pop! Disney figure is not considered rare. It was a standard retail release for the 2019 live-action film and was widely available in stores and online. While specific variants like Chase or One-Eye figures would be rarer, the standard SKU 551 is a common collectible that is frequently found in both new and used condition.
The 2019 Rafiki (Live Action) Pop! Disney (SKU 551) is a standard retail figure that typically sells for approximately $10 to $15 in new, sealed condition. Because it is a common release from a major franchise, it does not command a premium price on the secondary market, and its value generally remains stable near its original retail price.
To authenticate your 2019 Rafiki (Live Action) Pop! (SKU 551), first verify that the box features the standard Funko branding and displays the correct SKU number on the side or back. Inspect the figure itself for consistent paint application, proper articulation, and the characteristic vinyl texture, as counterfeit items often exhibit poor molding, misaligned parts, or low-quality printing. While there is no single definitive holographic seal for this specific release, comparing the figure's proportions and details against high-resolution images from Funko's official website or reputable collector databases is the most reliable method for confirming authenticity.

The Rafiki (Live Action) Pop! Disney figure is no longer in print and is not available for purchase new from Funko. As a 2019 release, it has been discontinued, meaning new stock is only available through third-party resellers or the secondary market.
To condition-check a Funko Pop! figure, inspect the vinyl surface for scratches, scuffs, or paint chips, paying close attention to the face and hands where damage is most common. Verify that the figure is securely seated in its base and that the box is free from significant dents, tears, or fading, as these factors significantly impact resale value. For a formal grade, you must submit the item to a professional third-party grading service like PSA, which will assign a numerical score based on a standardized rubric.
