No, the Raiden Pop! Games figure is not considered rare. It is a standard production item released in 2017 as part of the Mortal Kombat line and was widely available in retail stores. While sealed copies may command a premium over loose ones, the figure itself is a common collectible with a high production run.
The value of a Funko Pop! Raiden (SKU 254) varies significantly based on condition, with unopened factory-sealed boxes typically commanding a premium over loose figures. As a standard production item from 2017, it is generally considered a common collectible, and its market price fluctuates based on current demand and availability. For an accurate, up-to-date valuation, you should check recent completed sales on secondary marketplaces like eBay.
To authenticate your 2017 Raiden Pop! (SKU 254), first verify that the figure is accompanied by the original sealed box, which should display the Funko logo, the specific SKU number, and a holographic security sticker. Inspect the vinyl for consistent molding, sharp details, and the correct color palette, as counterfeit figures often exhibit poor paint application, misaligned parts, or missing accessories. While there is no single definitive test for every item, significant deviations in weight, texture, or packaging quality compared to known genuine examples are strong indicators of a counterfeit.

To grade a Funko Pop! figure, you should submit it to a professional third-party grading service such as PSA, CGC, or Beckett, which will evaluate the item's condition and assign a numerical score.
