Common questions about the Rain Pop! Movies from Funko (2024).
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
The Rain Pop! Movies figure (SKU 1614) is not considered rare in the traditional sense, as it is part of Funko's standard mass-produced Pop! Movies line. It is a regular retail item rather than a limited edition or exclusive variant, so its value is primarily determined by its condition and the popularity of the specific movie character.
The 2024 Funko Rain Pop! Movies (SKU 1614) is a relatively new release, so its market value is still stabilizing. In its unopened, in-box condition, it typically retails for approximately $12 to $15, while the open figure usually trades for around $8 to $12. Because the item is recent, prices may fluctuate as supply increases, but it generally holds close to its original retail price rather than commanding a significant collector's premium.
To authenticate your 2024 Funko Rain Pop! Movies (SKU 1614), first verify the packaging seal is intact and check that the box matches the official product images for this specific release. Inspect the vinyl figure for consistent paint application, sharp edges, and the correct "Rain" colorway, as mass-produced Funks typically have a smooth, uniform finish. Confirm the SKU 1614 is printed on the box and that the figure's base is flat and undamaged. If the vinyl feels rough, has visible mold lines, or the paint is smudged, it may be a counterfeit or a defective unit.
The Rain Pop! Movies was released in 2024 by Funko.
The Funko Pop! Movies: Rain figure (SKU 1614) is currently out of print. It is no longer available to buy new directly from Funko, though it may still be found in the secondary market.
Grading a Rain Pop! Movies figure primarily involves inspecting the vinyl for surface imperfections such as scratches, dents, or paint chips, with particular attention to the clear "rain" effect on the head. Check the packaging for any damage to the window or seal, as the condition of the box is a significant factor in determining the figure's value. Since this is a 2024 release, the primary grading criteria focus on the integrity of the vinyl and the clarity of the rain effect, which can be obscured by dust or smudges.
