Common questions about the Raphael Pop! Movies from Funko (2021).
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
No, the Raphael Pop! Movies figure (SKU 1135) is not considered rare. It is a standard production item from the 2021 release of the *Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles* movie line, and it was widely available through major retailers and Funko's own channels. While specific color variants or exclusive editions may have lower production numbers, the standard version is a common collectible.
The Raphael Pop! Movies figure (SKU 1135) is a standard production item from 2021, and its value is typically determined by the current secondary market price for new, in-box units. As a common character from a popular franchise, it generally does not command a premium over its original retail price unless it is part of a complete set or has a specific variant. I cannot provide a precise current market value without access to real-time sales data, so checking recent completed listings on platforms like eBay is the most reliable method for determining its worth.
To authenticate a 2021 Raphael Pop! Movies figure (SKU 1135), first verify that the box is sealed with the correct Funko branding and that the figure itself features the standard vinyl material with the characteristic glossy finish. Check the base for a molded "Funko" logo and ensure the paint application is clean without significant bleeding, as poor paint jobs are a common indicator of counterfeits. While specific SKU numbers are not typically printed on the figure itself, you can cross-reference the box art and character details against official Funko release images to confirm the design matches the 2021 production run. If the figure feels unusually light, has sharp edges, or lacks the standard Funko logo on the base, it is likely a replica.
The Raphael Pop! Movies was released in 2021 by Funko.
Funko has discontinued the Raphael Pop! Movies figure (SKU 1135), meaning it is no longer in print and cannot be purchased new from the manufacturer. While it may occasionally appear as a used item on secondary markets, it is no longer produced or sold as a new product by Funko.
To condition-check a Raphael Pop! Movies figure, inspect the vinyl surface under bright light for scratches, scuffs, or paint imperfections, paying close attention to the eyes and any fine details on his shell and accessories. Verify that the figure is securely seated in its original box and that the window is free of cracks or fogging, as the packaging is a significant component of the item's value. For a formal grade, you would need to submit the figure to a third-party grading service, though note that Funko Pops are generally not graded by major companies like PSA, so value is typically determined by the seller's description and photos of the item's specific condition.
