Common questions about the Rebel Fleet Trooper from Sideshow Collectibles (2008).
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
The Sideshow Collectibles Rebel Fleet Trooper from 2008 is not considered rare, as it was a mass-produced 1/6th scale figure released as part of a standard product line. These figures were widely distributed through major retailers and Sideshow's own channels, making them relatively common in the secondary market compared to limited-edition or prototype items.
The Rebel Fleet Trooper originally retailed for $69.99. Live secondary-market data isn't indexed yet — check eBay sold listings for current value.
Sideshow Collectibles did not release a figure specifically titled "Rebel Fleet Trooper" in 2008, as their Star Wars line that year focused on characters like Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, and Boba Fett. Because this specific item does not appear in the manufacturer's official catalog for that year, it is likely a misidentified product, a third-party reproduction, or a custom modification. To authenticate your item, you should verify the specific character name and packaging against Sideshow's 2008 release archives, as the absence of this title in official records suggests the item is not a standard factory release.
The Rebel Fleet Trooper was released in 2008 by Sideshow Collectibles.
The Sideshow Collectibles Rebel Fleet Trooper from 2008 is no longer in production and is not available to buy new from the manufacturer. This figure is considered a discontinued item, meaning it can only be purchased as a used collectible through third-party resellers or secondary markets.
I cannot find reliable information confirming that Sideshow Collectibles produced a specific item titled "Rebel Fleet Trooper" in 2008. Sideshow is primarily known for high-end 1/6th scale figures and 1/12th scale statues, and their 2008 Star Wars releases did not include a product with that exact name. If you are referring to a different manufacturer or a specific variant of a known figure, please verify the exact product title and manufacturer to ensure accurate grading guidance.
