Common questions about the Richard Simmons Pop! Icons from Funko (2020).
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
The Richard Simmons Pop! Icons figure is not considered rare, as it was part of a standard mass-production run released by Funko in 2020. Like most standard line items, it was widely available through major retailers and online marketplaces during its release window. Consequently, it does not carry the scarcity premium associated with limited-edition exclusives or short-print runs.
The value of a new, sealed Richard Simmons Pop! Icons figure (SKU 59) typically ranges from $10 to $15, which is close to its original retail price. Because this figure was released in 2020 and is not considered a rare or limited edition item, it has not seen significant appreciation in the secondary market. Prices may fluctuate slightly based on current demand, but it generally does not command a premium over its MSRP.
To authenticate your Richard Simmons Pop! Icons figure, first verify that the box is sealed with a holographic sticker and that the figure itself has the correct SKU number 59 printed on the base. Inspect the paint application for consistency, ensuring there are no air bubbles, rough edges, or misaligned eyes, which are common indicators of counterfeits. Additionally, check that the figure is made of high-quality vinyl with a smooth finish and that the packaging matches the official 2020 release specifications. If the figure exhibits significant flaws or the box lacks proper branding, it may be a replica.
The Richard Simmons Pop! Icons was released in 2020 by Funko.
The Richard Simmons Pop! Icons figure is no longer in print and is not available for purchase new from Funko. As a 2020 release, it is considered a discontinued item, meaning any new copies found on the market are likely from remaining third-party inventory or are resold used.
To condition-check a Richard Simmons Pop! Icons figure, inspect the vinyl surface for any scratches, scuffs, or paint imperfections, paying close attention to the face and hands where flaws are most common. Verify that the eyes are properly aligned and free of smudges, and ensure the figure is securely seated within its window box without any gaps or loose parts. If you are seeking a professional grade, submit the item to a third-party grading service like PSA, which will evaluate the figure's overall condition and assign a numerical score based on their specific grading standards.
