No, the Ricky Bobby Pop! Movies figure (SKU 183) is not considered rare. It was a standard production release by Funko in 2015 and was widely available in retail stores and online marketplaces. Because it was not a limited edition, exclusive, or discontinued variant, it remains common and is generally easy to find in new or used condition.
The value of a new-in-box Funko Pop! Ricky Bobby (Movie #183) typically ranges from $10 to $15, while used copies generally sell for $5 to $8. Prices can fluctuate based on market demand and the condition of the figure, so checking recent completed sales on platforms like eBay provides the most accurate current valuation.
To authenticate your Funko Pop! Ricky Bobby (SKU 183), first verify that the box is sealed with the correct year (2015) and that the figure's paint application, particularly on the hair and suit, is crisp without significant bleeding. Check the base for the standard Funko logo and ensure the eyes are properly aligned and glossy, as poor eye alignment is a common sign of counterfeits. If the packaging appears damaged or the figure has a strong chemical smell, it may be a reproduction, so comparing it side-by-side with high-resolution images of a verified authentic SKU 183 is recommended.
The Ricky Bobby Pop! Movies was released in 2015 by Funko.
The Ricky Bobby Pop! Movies figure (SKU 183) is no longer in print and is not available to buy new from Funko. This item was released in 2015 and has been discontinued, meaning it can only be purchased on the secondary market.
Condition-checking a Funko Pop! involves inspecting the figure for common defects such as paint overspray, scratches, or misaligned parts, particularly on the face and accessories. Since these figures are mass-produced and typically sold in sealed boxes, professional grading services like PSA or CGC are rarely used for standard retail items, making a simple visual inspection the standard method for determining value. You should verify that the eyes are aligned, the hair is intact, and the base is free of cracks or scuffs, as any visible damage will significantly reduce the item's resale value.
