Common questions about the RoboCop Pop! Movies from Funko (2026).
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
The RoboCop Pop! Movies (SKU 1989) is a standard production item released in 2026, so it is not considered rare. As a mass-produced collectible, its value is primarily driven by condition and market demand rather than limited production numbers.
Because the item is listed with a 2026 release year, it is likely a pre-release or upcoming figure, meaning its market value is not yet established. For a new, unopened box, the value is typically anchored to the manufacturer's suggested retail price, which for standard Funko Pops usually ranges from $12 to $15. The specific value will depend on the exact variant (standard vs. exclusive) and the condition of the packaging, but without a confirmed release date or secondary market data, a precise dollar amount cannot be definitively stated.
To authenticate your RoboCop Pop! Movies figure, first verify the box quality, ensuring the cardboard is stiff, the printing is crisp, and the holographic sticker is present and aligned. Inspect the vinyl for a uniform, matte finish with no visible mold lines, air bubbles, or paint overspray, and confirm the base is flat and securely attached. Check the SKU 1989 on the box and compare the figure's proportions and color accuracy against official Funko product images. If the figure feels lightweight, has a rough surface, or the packaging lacks the standard Funko branding and copyright notices, it may be a counterfeit.
The RoboCop Pop! Movies was released in 2026 by Funko.
The 2026 release date for the RoboCop Pop! Movies figure (SKU 1989) indicates it is a future or upcoming release, meaning it is not yet available for purchase as a new item. Because the product has not officially launched, it is technically not yet "in print" in the traditional sense, though it is likely part of a planned production run.
To grade a RoboCop Pop! Movies figure, you should inspect the vinyl surface for manufacturing defects such as seams, air bubbles, or paint imperfections. Check that the head is properly aligned and that the eyes are centered, as misalignment is a common issue. For professional grading, services like Beckett or CGC will assign a numerical grade from 1 to 10 based on these visual criteria. If you are checking condition yourself, look for yellowing, chipped paint, or loose parts, which would lower the value.
