The Ron Burgundy With Baxter Pop! Movies figure is not considered rare. It is a standard production item from the 2020 release of the "Anchorman" series and was widely available through major retail channels.
The Ron Burgundy With Baxter Pop! Movies figure (SKU 946) is a standard retail release from 2020, and its value is typically determined by its condition and whether it is sealed in its original box. As a common item from a popular movie franchise, it generally trades at or near its original retail price, usually ranging between $10 and $15 in the secondary market. Prices can fluctuate slightly based on local demand and the specific condition of the packaging.
To authenticate your Funko Pop! Ron Burgundy With Baxter (SKU 946), verify that the box displays the official Funko logo, the correct SKU number, and a holographic security sticker. Inspect the figure for consistent paint application, proper eye alignment, and the specific sculpting details of Ron and Baxter that match official product images. While there is no single definitive test for authenticity, significant deviations in weight, packaging quality, or sculpt details compared to known genuine examples are strong indicators of a counterfeit.
The Ron Burgundy With Baxter Pop! Movies was released in 2020 by Funko.
Funko has discontinued the Ron Burgundy With Baxter Pop! Movies figure, so it is no longer in print and cannot be purchased new directly from the manufacturer. While the item is no longer available through official retail channels, it may occasionally appear on secondary markets like eBay or Amazon, though prices for out-of-print figures are often higher than the original retail cost.
Condition-checking a Funko Pop! involves inspecting the vinyl figure for surface scratches, paint chips, or misaligned parts, and verifying that the box is free of dents, creases, or lid damage. For a formal grade, you should submit the item to a third-party grading service like PSA, which will assign a numerical score based on the figure's and packaging's condition. Note that because this is a 2020 release, you should also check for any known manufacturing defects specific to that production run before submitting it for grading.
