The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
No, the Ross Geller (Holiday Armadillo) Pop! Television is not considered rare. It is a standard mass-production release from Funko's 2024 holiday line, meaning it was manufactured in large quantities and is widely available through major retailers and online marketplaces.
As a 2024 release, the Ross Geller (Holiday Armadillo) Pop! Television is a recent item that has not yet established a stable secondary market value. Its worth is currently determined by standard retail pricing, and any premium over the original MSRP is speculative until the item has been in circulation long enough to generate consistent sales data.
To authenticate your Ross Geller (Holiday Armadillo) Pop! Television, verify that the box is sealed with a holographic sticker and that the figure itself features the correct SKU 1648 on the packaging. Examine the vinyl for consistent paint application, sharp molding details, and the official Funko logo on the base, as counterfeit items often exhibit blurry printing or rough seams. If the item lacks these quality markers or the packaging appears generic, it is likely a reproduction, and you should consult Funko’s official authentication guidelines for further verification.
The Ross Geller (Holiday Armadillo) Pop! Television was released in 2024 by Funko.
As of early 2025, the Ross Geller (Holiday Armadillo) Pop! Television (SKU 1648) is generally considered out of print and is no longer sold as new by Funko or major retail partners. Because this figure was part of a limited holiday release, new stock is scarce, and availability is typically restricted to the secondary market where prices may exceed the original retail value.
Condition-checking a Funko Pop! involves inspecting the vinyl figure for manufacturing defects such as seam lines, paint overspray, or misaligned eyes, and verifying that the head fits securely on the body without excessive wobble. You should also examine the original box for any creases, dents, or damage to the window, as the packaging's integrity significantly impacts the item's value. While third-party grading services like PSA exist for collectibles, they are rarely used for standard retail Funko Pops, so most collectors rely on visual inspection and high-resolution photos to assess condition.
