The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
The "Rowdy" Roddy Piper Pop! WWE (SKU 147) is not considered a rare item. It is a standard production figure from the 2024 WWE collection, meaning it was manufactured in large quantities and remains widely available through major retailers and online marketplaces. While specific limited editions or special variants may be scarcer, the base model is a common collectible.
The "Rowdy" Roddy Piper Pop! WWE (SKU 147) is a 2024 release from Funko, and its value depends heavily on condition and whether it is new in box or loose. As a relatively recent release, it typically trades at or near its original retail price, which is generally around $12.00 to $15.00 USD for a new-in-box figure. Because it is a standard production item rather than a limited edition, its value is primarily determined by current market demand for Roddy Piper memorabilia and the specific condition of the individual unit.
To authenticate your 2024 Funko Pop! WWE "Rowdy" Roddy Piper (SKU 147), first verify that the box seal is intact and the vinyl figure matches the official product images in terms of paint application, facial features, and pose. Check the bottom of the figure for the molded "Funko" logo and the specific SKU number 147, which should be clearly legible. If the vinyl feels rough, has visible mold lines, or the packaging lacks the standard Funko branding and holographic sticker, the item may be a counterfeit. For definitive confirmation, cross-reference the SKU against Funko's official catalog or consult a certified appraiser, as visual inspection alone can miss subtle manufacturing defects.
The "Rowdy" Roddy Piper Pop! WWE was released in 2024 by Funko.
The "Rowdy" Roddy Piper Pop! WWE (SKU 147) is currently out of print. It was released in 2024 as part of the WWE series, and Funko has since discontinued this specific figure. While it is no longer sold new directly from Funko, it remains available through third-party retailers and the secondary market, where prices often exceed the original retail value.
To condition-check this figure, inspect the vinyl surface for scratches, scuffs, or paint chips, paying close attention to the face, hands, and the signature "Rowdy" pose elements. Verify that the eyes are intact and the base is clean, as these are common failure points for Funko Pops. For formal grading, submit the figure to a major third-party grading service like PSA or Beckett, which will assign a numerical grade (typically on a 10-point scale) based on the figure's overall preservation and originality.
