Common questions about the RuPaul Pop! Drag Queens from Funko (2018).
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
No, the RuPaul Pop! Drag Queens figure is not considered rare. It is a standard production item from Funko's 2018 release line, and because it was widely distributed and not limited in quantity, it remains readily available on the secondary market.
The value of a RuPaul Pop! Drag Queens figure from 2018 varies significantly based on its condition, packaging, and current market demand, so a single fixed price does not exist. As a standard retail collectible, it typically trades for between $5 and $15 if new in box, while rare variants or sealed sets may command higher prices. For the most accurate valuation, you should check recent completed sales on platforms like eBay or specialized collectibles marketplaces.
Funko Pop! figures, including the 2018 RuPaul Drag Queens release, are mass-produced items that do not have individual serial numbers or unique authentication markers. To verify authenticity, you should examine the packaging for the official Funko logo and check that the figure's paint application, plastic molding, and articulation points match the quality of genuine Funko products. Because these items are widely available and relatively inexpensive, there is no specialized authentication service for them, and you should rely on visual inspection against known genuine examples.
The RuPaul Pop! Drag Queens was released in 2018 by Funko.
Funko has discontinued the RuPaul Pop! Drag Queens line, meaning the figures are no longer in print and cannot be purchased new directly from the manufacturer. While specific individual figures from the 2018 release may occasionally appear as new-old-stock on third-party resale platforms, they are generally considered out of print and are typically only available through the secondary market.
There is no standardized third-party grading service for Funko Pop! figures, so you cannot obtain a professional numerical grade for this item. To assess its condition, inspect the vinyl surface for scratches, cracks, or paint defects, and verify that the figure is securely seated in its base without any loose parts. The original box condition is also a critical factor for value, so check for dented corners, shelf wear, or a damaged window.
